Its pretty dang good for the price. THE BEST Buffet experience in Rockford hands down. I've been to at least three other buffets. #1 Oriental got it for sure. Just like anywhere some days can be hit or miss. However, it's usually a hit.

When I first moved to Rockford I visited this buffet every week. The food for the price is what I would expect. It's all you can eat so your expectations need to be adjusted accordingly. The owners are delightful people and always friendly to me. If you're craving endless Chinese food stop there for lunch.
One of the best buffets in Rockford. I've been going here for years and it always hits the spot. The staff are friendly and polite; and the atmosphere is pleasant. Their fish tank is also clean, which is something you don't see in most places in Rockford. If you're looking to chill and scarf down 3 or 4 plates of food, this is where you wanna go. It's still affordable too!
This is a little big place it looks small from the outside, but inside is pretty spacious. It's not a super buffet but for the location it serves enough to keep you occupied. The food was good and fresh that's all you can ask for at a buffet. The issue that needs to address is the big mirror in back. It needs to be cleaned thoroughly not just part of it.
I eat here whenever I get a chance. The owner Michelle, makes great food and always makes you feel welcome. The price is fantastic.
I have been eating here for over twenty years, and I keep coming back, but not more than a few times a year. It's not the best restaurant in town by any means. The food is all fine, but I don't think it's super (at least lately), although it's my son's favorite restaurant. To be fair, this business model requires a certain level of traffic to operate at peak performance, and with the pandemic issues, that's rather difficult to do right now. I like that you can walk in and get seated right away and that there is a variety of food to please everyone. In addition to the expected Asian food, there is also fish, pizza, chicken nuggets, and other options. The variety makes it nice for any group that wants to go together without having to really agree on the menu. I have been here with a lot of different groups, and no one has left hungry. The kids like the fish tank.
